MANUFACTURING TRAINING MANAGER - NEWCASTLE - £32,000-£36,000
A leading manufacturing company in the Newcastle area are currently looking for a Training Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of the role will be to manage the training strategy for the manufacturing site as well as developing and implementing classroom based and on the job training activities.
The key duties will include planning and delivering staff development programmes utilising classroom training, demonstrations, on-the job training, meetings and workshops. The role will involve training both machine operators as well as supervisors/super users and developing and improving existing training programmes and training manuals. Other tasks will include running GNVQ programmes and liaising where necessary with external educational bodies.
In order to be considered candidates will need to have experience working within a technical/manufacturing environment delivering training programmes and coordinating all training activities across the site. Experience running GNVQs is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be required to have a strong technical acumen and excellent organisational skills. Previous experience of working in a pharmaceutical or FMCG environment is ideal and other industries will be considered.
The role for a Manufacturing Training Manager is based in Newcastle as is commutable Sunderland, Gateshead, South Shields, Durham and other locations across the North East.
