Eden Scott's client is looking to recruit a Project Control Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for implementation and management of project controls functions
Accountable for reliability and suitability of project controls support to projects and operations
Responsible for ongoing review and improvement of project controls functions
Duties include provision of suitable process to underpin project deliver
Leadership of project controls managers and leaders
Supporting leadership in theses areas to main streamlined structure balancing project requirements with required level of management support
Provision of transition management during project start-up with development into leadership of all Project Services functions during the life time of the project.
Main Responsibilities
Deliver the function of Project Services function to the project team
Deliver excellence in the co-ordination of the project planning function
Deliver excellence in the coordinator of the project estimating function
Ensure consistency in the reporting for both planning progress and base line estimates
Manager the change control process
Support the Project engineers for all elements of the project control
Coordinator the interface of information between the Estimating team and the Cost Engineering Team
Assit in the evolution and delivery of the project reporting set-up
Provide feedback on performance against estimating norms
Provide qualitative analysis of the process and productivity data
Provide results using earned value analysis
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
QS or Engineering qualifications to honours degree level
High numerate
Experienced in delivery of high service quality to customers
Considerable experience in oil and gas project services role
COMPETENCE
Good team working
Good self motivation
Good communication skills
Critical understanding of operator business drivers
