The Company
A large energy consulting dedicated to providing a 'whole house' solution to energy efficiency. They are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join its expanding team.
The role
The role will involve targeting business from prospective clients predominantly in the social housing and commercial arena. Following recent expansion, our client is looking for an exceptional New Business Development Manager to lead the continued growth of the client base. Based in Leicester the role will involve travel for client meetings as but also allow for a certain level of home working. You will have a good broad understanding of Energy and Energy saving in addition to a strong sales background.
Skills and experience:
Proven Sales experience within the Public Sector
Demonstrable proven track record influencing and working at the highest levels within the Public Sector arena
Proven track record of winning bid/tender opportunities within the Local Authority/Housing Association market place
Effective communication, time management and organisational skills
Considerable amount of travel is associated with this role, therefore it is essential that you possess a full current driving license (with 6 points or less)
