Client
Our client is a major facilities management company looking for a Controls Engineer to join their growing team
Role
- Responsible for the delivery and performance of BMS Controls maintenance
- Provide planned preventative maintenance (PPM), small works and cover for breakdowns and callouts.
- Ensure delivery to the expected high standards in line with both the company and
contracted agreement.
Accountabilities
- Delivery of effective PPM & Project works across the region.
- Maintain all processes and procedures in accordance with company / contract procedures.
- Provide support for dealing with Controls related issues including engineering support, callouts and PPMs with the necessary aptitude to ensure benefits to all parties.
- Be responsible for ensuring that engineers' reports are produced on time detailing accurate and informative information.
- Identify opportunities for project and energy saving initiatives
- Take a pro-active role in interacting with the client and carrying out customer care to ensure they are satisfied with service delivery
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are never compromised and that processes and documentation is regularly reviewed and maintained.
- To support the Operational teams and develop new opportunities across the region
- Work within the Health, Safety, access and security constraint required throughout the sites.
- Provide callouts, PPM activities and project works as required.
- Support Trend, Tridium and Priva BMS installations.
- Preparation and submittal of quotations for replacements.
- Managing small works projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Requires an in-depth knowledge of BMS with particular focus on Trend & Tridium systems
- Good practical knowledge of Building Services and Electrical Systems.
- Must be able to communicate at all levels to get the best from a team environment and build good relationships with customers.
- Adopt a can do attitude and approach to the role.
- Competent to maintain the company and client H&S standards.
- Customer focus on providing solutions beneficial to customers.
- Comfortable in meetings with customers at a senior level.
