Eden Scott's client is delighted to have the opportunity to invite an experienced Controls & Instrumentation engineer to join their expanding team in Moray.
The purpose of the role is to manage capex engineering projects and budgets as well as any non-recurring maintenance projects. The role will work within a large team of engineers and will offer you the chance to utilise your specialist knowledge to deliver both discipline specific and multi-discipline capex projects to the correct technical specification.
Duties will include:
* ensuring projects are delivered on time, within cost and to the expectations of the business
* using specialist engineering knowledge to provide technical specifications and costs for capex projects
* managing project spend and procurement activities efficiently
* liaising with external contractors and deploying resources appropriately to ensure project delivery
* ensuring compliance with appropriate health, safety and environmental standards
The role will be suited to an experienced Controls & Instrumentation qualified engineer or indeed an electrically qualified engineer whose career has moved into the field of controls engineering. You will have a proven track record in this field and will have excellent project management skills. The ability to work with a wide customer base and to be able to tailor your approach to all levels is key.
The role is based in Moray but will also offer the chance to travel to various sites and projects across the north east, west and islands of Scotland.
A full driving licence and a flexible approach to working is therefore essential for this post.
