Eden Scott’s client based in North Lanarkshire is a market leader in the manufacturing of specialised products for the Aerospace and Defence Industry. Due to continued growth and success they now require an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join the organisation.
The successful candidate will have several responsibilities including:
• Contributing to resolving problems within production
• Providing support to the company’s tool-making function
• Supporting the Press Shop production processes
• Setting all hydraulic presses, up to 150 tonne capacity, to exacting standards
The candidate will have extensive hydraulic press setting experience as well as extensive experience of traditional tool room techniques. Furthermore, experience of lean manufacturing principals will be advantageous along with experience of powder processing.
