 M&E Project Manager - Process Mechanical & Pipework Installation Projects


Kings Lynn, Norfolk

£55,000 - £65,000 DOE Plus Excellent Benefits Package Including Accommodation Allowance



Are you a project manager with mechanical and electrical engineering experience? Do you have a background in managing large process mechanical and pipework installation projects? If so read on.



Our client is a leading engineering services provider, with annual revenues of over €500m. They count among their clients some of the world’s leading names in the pharmaceutical, industrial, oil & gas, and technology sectors. They are looking to recruit an experienced M&E Project Manager.

As the M&E Project Manager, you will take charge of an experienced process mechanical team and begin work on a £13m bio-energy facility at a major industrial complex in Norfolk.



Your duties will include:



- Planning all resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors

- Managing and driving a large team

- Meeting all project requirements and deadlines

- Ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards

- Ensuring project profitability



To be considered for this role, you must have:



- Project management experience within the M&E engineering industry

- Experience of managing large process mechanical and pipework installation projects, including labour, materials and sub-contractors

- A degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or another related trade qualification

- A strong knowledge of H&S regulations



As an M&E Project Manager, you must have strong communication and leadership skills coupled with the ability to work to strict deadlines. Good computer skills including Microsoft Office are key.



It would be desirable for you to be NEBOSH qualified or to hold another similar qualification. A heavy industrial background would also be advantageous to your application, but by no means essential.
