Our client is a leading UK and European supplier in their industry. They are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be required to carry out a variety of tasks involving your electrical and mechanical talents.



You will undertake day-to-day repairs on plant machinery, equipment and services to optimise availability. You will ensure Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is carried out to the appropriate schedules.



Conducting mechanical and electrical repairs on machinery, you will respond to breakdowns and carry out routine maintenance on plant machinery as required.



Your other duties will include:



- Providing electrical and other engineering support

- Seeking to improve and develop processes to ensure efficient operation

- Liaising with external suppliers and agencies as required



To be considered for this role, you must have:



- Multi-skilled maintenance experience

- A 17th Edition electrical qualification


- A manufacturing background

- A good understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment

- Knowledge of preventative maintenance methodology

- A good understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements



As a Maintenance Technician, you must be an analytical thinker with a hands-on approach and good problem-solving skills. Basic computing abilities, including Microsoft Word and Excel, are key.
