Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Lincolnshire
Salary: Up to £35k (plus benefits)

The role:
To support the day-to-day manufacturing ensuring all processes function efficiently and produce repeatable results. Continuous improvement activities also.
The responsibilities of this job role are as follows:
• To provide technical assistance to other departments in the resolution of any problems on existing products.
• Find root cause of issues, come up with long term solutions to fix problems and continually work to improve the manufacture of products to eliminate both rework and scrap.
• Apply knowledge and skill to assist in the introduction of new technology in order to improve quality and productivity.
• Generate and maintain PFMEA’s
• Work with Product Engineers and other team members, having input to project plans and performing assigned tasks.
• Provide ongoing support to the Development Technicians, Productions Operators and processes to ensure economic manufacturing to the correct build standard and process control.
• Liaise with Engineering and other departments to produce cost estimates for new product designs.
To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills or experience:
• Degree / HNC / HND / Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Engineering discipline
• Good understanding of CNC Engineering
• Understanding of CMM Operation
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong problem solving / continuous improvement capability
• Understanding and experience of lean manufacturing techniques.
