Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer Burns Carlton
Description
Project Engineer – UK Wide - c.1 year experience preferred
Leading renewable energy consultancy and project developer is seeking to recruit a Project Engineer to provide project management and technical support, reporting directly to Head of Projects.

The role is to provide assistance to the Projects team, who are involved in the design and construction of the company’s generation assets. Mainly consisting of wind farms and turbines, but also solar assets around the UK. Working alongside a team of professionals within the projects team to evaluate potential sites and assist in the development and construction of new wind farms.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Minimum of HNC/HND qualification in engineering – previous HV electrical engineering experience preferred although civil engineering may also be considered.
• Proven project management and delivery skills
• Ability to work independently with remote management, and take responsibility for project delivery.
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines without compromising safety or quality.
• Strong communication skills particularly verbal communication.
• Computing skills including MS office, MS project and AutoCAD
• Construction experience and knowledge of CDM and Health & Safety Practices an advantage.
• Full UK driving license
