My client is a manufacturer of Air Conditioning / HVAC plant with coverage of the whole of the UK and abroad. Due to their ongoing expansion in the manufacturing sector they have a current requirement to add a Technical Sales Engineer to their team in the North.
The position will be selling a variety of temperature control solutions directly into the manufacturing industry throughout Northern England. The role will involve approximately 1 day per week in the office, the rest of the time on the road visiting clients. The ideal location of the candidate would be in the Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Bradford or York areas.
They are looking for somebody with technical sales experience selling into similar types of companies. Somebody therefore with experience selling HVAC / Refrigeration, Fluid Movement or Thermodynamics solutions will be of particular interest. People with other sales experience within the mechanical engineering industry will also be considered.
The package will consist of a basic salary between £25K - £29K with a realistic 1st year OTE of between £40K - £45K. A company car will also be provided along with other benefits including a contributory pension scheme.
