| Description |
Description of position:
• Analysis of different technologies (grade, fluidized bed)
• Definition of best technologies regarding the fuels and the specific characteristics of project
• Elaboration of potential sub-suppliers and a supplier list, including research of new suppliers and evaluation thereof
• Definition of technology, Elaboration of data sheets and specifications of equipments of boiler package
• Definition of different interfaces (mechanical, electrical, control, civil work)and especially the interfaces management with thermodynamic cycle equipments and flue gas treatment
• Request for quotation and selection of suppliers
• Checking and validation of the design and calculation of supplier
• Checking and validation of materials
• Elaboration of specification for order of different equipments / packages
• Follow up of the technical part of the orders during project execution
• Inspections in work shop of suppliers/partners
• Participate to the performance tests on site, check and validate the results of these tests
• Ensure Return of Experience for the design part.
• Integrate the feedback for next projects to improve cost and performances.
• Create necessary technical instructions and standards
• Support Tender Management in preparing best customer offers for boiler island package
• Reporting to the Operation/Technical Manager of Bioenergy Europe
Description of qualification:
• Thermal/Energetic Engineering with technical background/experience in industrial projects like power plant, waste incineration plants, co-generation plants, etc. Engineering school (general or specialized) or university degrees
• More than 5 years experience in industrial boiler Engineering/Design, manufacture, installation and operation
• Hard skills in mechanical / thermal design of biomass combustion and boiler
• Experience in handling of complex technical products, ideally in the renewable energy biomass sector, manufacturing subcontracting and project execution. The engineer shall have Technical as the main competency
• Autonomous, rigorous and flexible since the activity is a developing activity.
• Ability to work in an international environment
• A proven track record of success in the past activity exists
• Strengths include independent and customer-oriented work, a good ability to work under pressure
• Success oriented and enjoying working in a competitive, dynamic environment
• Good team-player, be able to work closely with other specialist engineers and highly committed, possession of good organizational, and communicational skills, social skills, intercultural tolerance and high willingness to travel
• Native language is German or English and you are fluent in another language
