Project Manager – Quantity Surveying / Construction

London, N14 (Office/Field based, covering London)

£45,000 - £55,000 DOE Plus Bonus Scheme, Private Healthcare, Car Parking Permit



Established in 1983, our client is one of the leading project management and quantity surveying practices in the South East. They are currently ranked within the top 100 fastest growing consultants and the top 100 financial performers by the Building Magazine Survey. An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join their team.



This role would suit a project manager from the construction industry with a quantity surveying background looking to take the next step in their career development.



As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of a variety of construction projects.



This will include project conception, developing the project brief, and advising on budgeting, site acquisitions, and planning. You will also develop project strategy and programming.



Your other duties will include:



- co-ordinating statutory authorities

- arranging pre-commissioning, feasibility studies and reports

- arranging tender documentation, contractors and feedback monitoring

- developing maintenance programmes and consultant’s briefs

- co-ordinating the design process



To be considered for this position, you must have:



- project management experience gained within the construction industry

- a quantity surveying background

- some knowledge of MS Office, CAD, MS Projects, and JCT Contracts Digital Service



Additionally, as a Project Manager, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, consultants and contractors.



Although not essential, a professional qualification, APM or similar, would be a distinct advantage to your application.
