£28,000 - £35,000 DOE Plus 25 Days’ Holiday
Do you have a proven track record of estimating coupled with an electrical and mechanical background? Looking to develop a career in the exciting and emerging green energy, low carbon market? If so, here’s your chance.
A superb opportunity has arisen for an M&E Estimator to join our client, one of the UK’s fastest growing companies and leading UK provider of energy, carbon and sustainability solutions for private and public sector organisations.
In this key role, you will work alongside a team of professional and talented engineers and be responsible for attending site meetings to survey mechanical and electrical jobs across the UK.
In addition to providing accurate pricing for the sales department to use in proposals, your role will also comprise some basic design duties in order to select the right materials and products to enable accurate pricing of projects.
Your duties will include:
- Surveying sites
- Pricing work
- Specifying hardware
- Dealing with contractors
- Attending project-related meetings
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- Solid estimating experience
- A strong electrical background, including an understanding of mechanical systems
- A mechanical apprenticeship OR an industry applicable ONC, HNC NVQ and/or B.Eng
As an M&E Estimator, you’ll also need strong commercial and contractual awareness. A willingness to travel is also key.
