The role will be a key part of the growing Renewable Energy Team, involving:
-The development of practices for use of aeroelastic codes for wind and tidal turbines.
-The development of procedures for the calculation of complete load envelopes for onshore and offshore wind turbines, including wind and wave loading, using IEC 61400-1:2005 type load extrapolation techniques.
-Performance of parallel calculations and document reviews.
-Creation of complete load data sets for clients.
-And in the moving forwards, the development and leadership of a load engineering team.
